Report suspected side-effects

Medsafetyweek
| Category: Latest feature

MedSafetyWeek takes place from 2 to 8 November 2026. It encourages patients and carers to report suspected side effects from medicines through the MHRA’s Yellow Card Scheme.

If you use medicines for psoriasis or psoriatic arthritis, you can report a suspected side effect yourself. You do not need to be certain that the medicine caused it.

Why report?

Reports help the MHRA identify possible safety problems and make medicines safer for everyone. It is particularly important to report side effects that are serious, affect your everyday life or are not listed in the patient information leaflet. You can still make a report if you do not have all the details.

Making a report

Visit yellowcard.mhra.gov.uk or use the Yellow Card app to report a suspected side effect. Patients, carers and healthcare professionals can all report.

If you are concerned about symptoms or your treatment, speak to your doctor, nurse or pharmacist. Reporting through Yellow Card does not replace getting medical advice.
