Helping healthcare professionals identify patients taking immunosuppressive medicines
Some medicines used to treat psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis suppress or modify the immune system. This is important information for healthcare professionals to be aware of when assessing a patient's health, investigating possible infections or planning treatment.
PAPAA's Medical Alert Card is designed to alert healthcare professionals that a patient is taking immunosuppressive medication, prompting them to take this into account when providing care.
Patients are encouraged to carry the card with them and present it when attending healthcare appointments or receiving medical treatment.
These cards are only available to order by healthcare professionals.
