
The University of Manchester has launched the MOVE SMART study, a lifestyle program designed to help individuals with psoriasis manage their condition and related health issues. Funded by the National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR), this feasibility study aims to assess the effectiveness of the program in improving psoriasis symptoms.
Key Details
Program Structure: Participants follow the MOVE SMART program from home or work, with no need for in-person visits.
Duration: The study spans 24 weeks, with participants starting either immediately or after 12 weeks.
Eligibility: Open to individuals aged 18-60 with psoriasis onset before age 40, including those with or without psoriatic arthritis.
Exclusions: Those unable to walk, with severe heart issues, or pregnant/breastfeeding are not eligible.
