How are you doing?
This week on the forum: how are you really doing?
Living with psoriasis or psoriatic arthritis can mean good days, bad days, and a lot of days in between. Some weeks it’s the skin, some weeks it’s the joints, mood, work, family – or all of it at once.
How has this week been for you so far?
- Are your skin or joints better, worse, or about the same?
- Has anything in particular helped, or made things harder?
- Is there one small win you’d like to share, or something you’re finding especially tough?
Share as much or as little as you feel comfortable. Your experience could reassure someone else who is reading but not sure whether to post.

This week has been a bit of a mixed bag for me. My skin has been fairly stable overall, maybe a little drier than usual, but my joints have been more noticeable, especially in the mornings. Stiffness has been hanging around longer than I’d like, which has made getting going each day a bit of a challenge. What’s helped a little is trying to keep a gentle routine going, stretching, not overdoing things, and making sure I actually rest when I need to (still working on that one). Stress has definitely made things feel worse this week though, so that’s something I’m trying to be more aware of. A small win: I managed to get out for a short walk a couple of days ago when I really didn’t feel like it, and it actually lifted my mood more than I expected. One tough bit has been the unpredictability, it’s frustrating not knowing how I’ll feel from one day to the next. Trying to take it one day at a time.
