Virtual consultation video
In this short video we are providing an introduction to virtual medical consultations, which are now being offered to many people instead of a face-to-face (F2F) appointment at a surgery or hospital. This is a simple guide just to give you an idea of what you may encounter or can expect will be involved in speaking to your healthcare provider over the telephone or via a secure video link.

Psoriasis in Practice - elearning for HCPs
Psoriasis in Practice is a patient-centred education programme, using patient interviews and case studies, clearly illustrating the everyday impact of psoriatic disease on the individual. The course can be accessed via any compatible device, computer, mobile and tablet. So you can start on one device and continue on another 24/7 at your own pace, in your own time. The programme helps nurses and healthcare professionals understand the individual needs of people with psoriasis, including how to assess and safely manage treatment for psoriasis patients.

Coping

The PAPAA website can provide support and information that will enable you to understand the treatments, how you can help yourself, how other people live with their condition and much more including practical tips of how to cope.

The Psoriasis and Psoriatic Arthritis Alliance (PAPAA) is an independent registered UK charity, which provides non-biased material and evidence-based self-help management tools and resources related to psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis. The main activities are to provide information, education and support to both patients and healthcare professionals. All activities are based on a patient-centred approach. The video describes our 'Statement of Intent'. This is the basis of what drives us and forms part of our philosophy and ethos. Privacy statement
PAPAA is an ethical charity and takes your privacy seriously. Any data you provide, such as your name, address and other personal information is kept only for record keeping, internal audit (6 years) and is stored securely. After that time records are deleted or destroyed securely. We do not share or transfer your data to any third party organisation, except where legally required to do so, such as if you have made a Gift Aid donation, we have to provide your name and postcode to Her Majesty's Revenue and Customs (HMRC), in order to provide proof that the donor is a UK tax payer.
Psoriatic arthritis: Management
The management of psoriatic arthritis has made significant strides in recent years. It is not so long ago that the only options for those affected by the condition were very limited. For someone being diagnosed in the 21st century the future is much more optimistic, the likelihood of finding an appropriate way of managing the symptoms is clearer.
