Parent and child interview study

Little boy hugging his mother 1.jpg

A group of researchers based at The University of Sheffield (U.K) would like to interview young people with psoriasis (aged 8-16 years old) and their parents about their experiences. This study will allow researchers to gain a deeper understanding of the impact that psoriasis can have on family life.

In this study, children and parents will be interviewed separately. Each interview will last between 30 and 60 minutes. The researchers would also like participants to complete some questionnaires about their thoughts and feelings.

Each parent/child pair who takes part in the study will be compensated with £25 cash for their time. Although the researchers are based in Sheffield, they are able to travel and carry out the interviews in participant’s homes. Alternatively, the interviews can be carried out at The University of Sheffield and travel expenses can be reimbursed.
